What I am seeing the past 7 games.

Celtics are 2-5the past 10 games and 3 of those losses are against teams that suck. I understand losing to the Lakers and Blazers but when you loss against Bobcats, warriors and Knicks there is some reason from concern.

*KG is not the same player he was last year. His points and rebound are down. Last year he seemed to step up and hit big shots. This year he has not done that. I am not sure if this is his age or perhaps he is hurt.

*Defense Celtics have given up what 24 fast break point tonight. That tells me the Celtics are not getting back. Team have figured out the Celtics defense and it has shown during their 2-5 record. Teams seem to be getting dunks and lay-ups as well as uncontested 3 pointers.

*Ray Allen is hit or miss. He seems to start off strong but toward the end of games is is MIA. I am not sure what to expect from him anymore.

*Pierce has been playing well. He seems to be shooting better. Problem is KG and Allen are not stepping up.

*Doc perhaps needs to give POB some playing time as well as Pruitt. It is obviously that the Celtics are physically and mentally tired. They looks slow on defense and at times look lost on offense.

*The lack of bench is killing the celtics.

*To many turnovers.

*Ainge needs to make a move to pick up a vet. Getting Croshere may be a start. I would work hard to get Marbury if he is released.

*Hate to say it but Celtics look a little old out there. This is obvious because the losses against the bobcats, knicks, blazers and warriors of of whom have young players.

*I am very concerned about the west coast trip when they play against good team.

I know most people will read this and say I am overacting. However what I have seen during these losses concern me. You cannot lose against teams with records well below 500 without raising some red flags.

Na... its just that Rondo is our best player, and when he plays bad, we loose.

Maybe the C's miss Posey more then they think after all....They're certainly not playing inspired. Could they have already peaked this early in the season? Detriot did that a few years back....

I believe doc should really consider doing something that will relax the team, something that will keep their mind off of basketball.

If not the game against the Cavs will be then end of this slump

More like

"Rondo is our biggest liability, and when he plays bad, teams don't have to worry about him and make everyone else play bad"

I agree with pretty much all those points, it sums up what is going on with the team. Im not sure if I buy the fact that they are playing old, I think its more of a motivation thing....the fire that they came out with in the beginning of the season just isnt there. The defense has been really weak, they are walking the ball up the court and settling for non stop jumpers at the end of the shot clock. The whole team seems emotionless for whatever reason, the other team will get an uncontested dunk and you can see all the guys just kind of standing there.

I have no idea where the fire went but this team just plain old looks flat, like they're not getting up for any of these games at all. Not sure its an age issue just yet..

Exactly. Time for Rondo to **** suck it up and start practicing his shot...hell, even Jason Kidd is a better shooter than Rondo. He needs to at least keep defenses honest by being able to be respectable at hitting the 12-15 ft jumper or else he is never going to get to the next level...layups and passing open wide-open jumpers and drives to the hoop to kick it out to the 3-point line is not the best way to run an offense...
