Sure he's overpaid, but Eddy Curry has put up good numbers his whole career. There's no need to penny pinch now when we are so close to being great again.

Yeah, but he's unfortunately not that Eddy Curry anymore. And he's not even THAT overpaid, by nba standards atleast. What's he make? like 8mil?

about 10 mil a year for the next 3 years. One year he averaged 20 pts and 7 rebs a game. Put him next to KG and he could average that every year.

I think it's well documented how bad of a defender eddy curry is. I would like to see him on the floor again. Just not with the Celtics. He's one of those rare players that had a solid. legit, low post game. But no defense what so ever.

Oh yeah, he's a legit low post guy, you just have to dedicate a large portion of your offense to him. and Doc doesn't seem to be the type of coach who likes to do that.

Ha, you might be right. I guess I've got to let go of the Wiggler eventually.

I'd hope that he'd become a better defender in the Celtics system, but who knows. He's very athletic though for such a massive hunk of meat.

His major concern is his conditioning though. He's 26 and already looks like the 36 yr old version of Shaq. Beggars can't be choosers though when it comes to getting an actual center that produces.

I'd rather not give up half of our active bench for two guys that haven't played a game yet this year. It's like wanting to bring in Antoine. You can't bank on what a player did 3-5 years ago.

I just dont get why people post trade ideas assuming other teams will accept what ever we give them.

What's not to get? New York wants to free up money for 2010 and get players that fit their system. Eddie House played for D'antoni and Scala used to be in a quick style with the nets.
