We could still do the Redick trade and have the co-college players of the year on the same team.

Perkins/Mohammed/O'Bryant
KG/PJ/Powe
Pierce/Morrison
R.Allen/Redick
Rondo/Marbury/Cassell

Like the idea of trading for Nazzy. Good rebounding, solid D, good mid-range J, playoff experience.

I'd take out Morrison and one of House/T. Allen. Morrison is a significant downgrade from the guys we have now, and I doubt the Bobcats would consider it a major upgrade either. Ideally I'd do Scal + House + Davis for Nazzy. House gets bought out and resigns.

Makes sense for the Bobcats to trade him. They barely play him, and center depth at center isn't real import for a team like the bobcats. Question is, would someone else offers more than the C's.

Pretty good idea. Adam Morrison is like a pseudo-Bird who'll lead us to another ring, and usher in the post-Big Three era with aplomb.

He seems somehow destined to be a Celtic at some point in his career. Maybe it would turn his mojo back on. And #44 is available, yeah?

If you want to really go crazy...

I like the idea of Morrison for scoring, but he plays literally no defense. Love or hate Tony Allen, he does, and had been looking great on that end of the floor up until the losing snap. So if we were gonna try to deal, here's what I'd propose:

Boston Trade Breakdown
Change in Team Outlook: -1.9 ppg, +0.5 rpg, and -0.6 apg.
Incoming Players
Adam Morrison
6-8 SF from Gonzaga
5.0 ppg, 1.7 rpg, 1.0 apg in 15.6 minutes
Gerald Wallace
6-7 SG / SF from Alabama
16.6 ppg, 7.4 rpg, 2.4 apg in 37.8 minutes
Outgoing Players
Glen Davis
6-8 C from LSU
3.9 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 0.7 apg in 16.4 minutes
Gabe Pruitt
6-4 PG / SG from USC
2.1 ppg, 0.8 rpg, 0.5 apg in 6.6 minutes
J.R. Giddens
6-5 SG from New Mexico
0.0 ppg, 0.0 rpg, 0.0 apg in 0.0 minutes
Sam Cassell
6-3 PG from Florida State
0.0 ppg, 0.0 rpg, 0.0 apg in 0.0 minutes
Tony Allen
6-4 SG from Oklahoma State
7.9 ppg, 2.1 rpg, 1.2 apg in 19.7 minutes
Eddie House
6-1 PG from Arizona State
7.5 ppg, 1.8 rpg, 1.2 apg in 17.3 minutes
Brian Scalabrine
6-9 PF from USC
2.1 ppg, 1.0 rpg, 0.4 apg in 9.1 minutes
Charlotte Trade Breakdown
Change in Team Outlook: +5.6 ppg, -1.3 rpg, and -0.4 apg.
Incoming Players
J.R. Giddens
6-5 SG from New Mexico
0.0 ppg, 0.0 rpg, 0.0 apg in 0.0 minutes
Tony Allen
6-4 SG from Oklahoma State
7.9 ppg, 2.1 rpg, 1.2 apg in 19.7 minutes
Corey Maggette
6-6 SF from Duk
19.3 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 1.8 apg in 34.7 minutes
Outgoing Players
Adam Morrison
6-8 SF from Gonzaga
5.0 ppg, 1.7 rpg, 1.0 apg in 15.6 minutes
Gerald Wallace
6-7 SG / SF from Alabama
16.6 ppg, 7.4 rpg, 2.4 apg in 37.8 minutes
Golden State Trade Breakdown
Change in Team Outlook: -3.7 ppg, +0.8 rpg, and +1.0 apg.
Incoming Players
Glen Davis
6-8 C from LSU
3.9 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 0.7 apg in 16.4 minutes
Gabe Pruitt
6-4 PG / SG from USC
2.1 ppg, 0.8 rpg, 0.5 apg in 6.6 minutes
Sam Cassell
6-3 PG from Florida State
0.0 ppg, 0.0 rpg, 0.0 apg in 0.0 minutes
Eddie House
6-1 PG from Arizona State
7.5 ppg, 1.8 rpg, 1.2 apg in 17.3 minutes
Brian Scalabrine
6-9 PF from USC
2.1 ppg, 1.0 rpg, 0.4 apg in 9.1 minutes
Outgoing Players
Corey Maggette
6-6 SF from Duk
19.3 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 1.8 apg in 34.7 minutes

Why for Charlotte: Cut salary, and replace Wallace's scoring with that of Maggette; get a look at Tony Allen and J.R. Giddens. They'll also need a pick to make this worth their while, I think.

Why for Golden State: They make out better than anyone in this deal. Unload Maggette (who was a mistake for them), and get back some decent prospects (Baby, Pruitt) at a low cost (Scal, House). They cut Sam Cassell, he comes back here after 30 days are up.

Why for the C's: Strengthen the bench scoring (Morrison, maybe) while adding a strong wing who can score a lot/play good man defense a la Posey (Wallace). Two guys Mike Gorman has said would look "great as Celtics" in the past. Then, the C's go out and sign Marbury, re-sign Cassell when allowed to, and actually play POB--who I think has PJ potential. C's look like this:

Perkins/O'Bryant
Garnett/Powe
Pierce/Morrison/B. Walker
Allen/Wallace
Rondo/Marbury/Cassell

Also still out there: Mourning and the Wiggle. But I say the sooner we do something like this, the better, as it will give the team time to mix before the playoffs. As many are saying, I'm sure we'll get it together even if we don't do anything, but as for winning in the playoffs and neutralizing LeBron and Kobe, bringing in Wallace as this year's Posey would be huge.

No way MJ lets that deal go through. I do like Nazr though.

I like this for the C's. Getting Marbury, Mourning and Wallace for 6-7-8 is great, plus still have Walker, Powe and Cassell. Can we keep ol' Smilin' Gabe, though? :D

Disagree on A Walker and POB. Forget Walker. And POB may have potential, but that's it. He in no way is ready to replace PJ.
