Going by the box score, Veal was a near-perfect substitute for Perk tonight.

SCA-LA-BRINE!!! SCA-LA-BRINE!!! lol, it's good to see him earn a little of that contract doing something besides funny interviews and being a good locker room guy.

I understand that Doc wants to match up with Bargs, but still, Scal??? Why not at least give, say, Bill Walker a shot?

Scal is a legit 6'9", while Walker is 6'5" or so. Barnyardi is a long, athletic 7-footer, and Scal matches up better size-wise and is quick enough to guard jump-shooting bigs (something he's better at than anyone not named Garnett on our team; ask Al Harrington).

This is not fair to Perk, he plays awsome D and is getting way better on the other side of the ball too.

KG is actually not very good chasing guys out at the 3pt line and it hurts our team defense. I think that Scal was a great counter to the offensive focus that TOR was putting on Bargnani. I don't know that we would have seen a lot of Scal, Perk or not but, it is pretty likely.

I've always been a big Scal hater, but...
Am I the only one who thinks that he's been the only pleasant surprise on our bench this year? I'd sure rather see him taking a 3 than big baby taking a jumper. He seems like one of our better reserves this year...if not the best.

better resv yea ight! No way! the play of Powe has been great Scal just been getting to play more and in bigger situations ( I.E) Knicks game when we need someone who can try to bother Al Harrington. Pls dont let Scals horrible play blurr ur vision this dude sucks yea he is mobile and big enough to D up Dirk and Harrington, and Barginani (however u spell it) but dude is a liabiltiy on Offense and complete fool when it comes to clutch time. This has to be a Showcase for some type of trade well at least I hope it is the past 4 years have been painful to watch num 44 just **** **** up!
