The two point field goal jump shot ranking requires 100 jump shots,
excluding 3 point shots, and
excluding layups, dunks, putbacks and tip-ins.

134 players qualified to be ranked (minimum 100 jump shots),
and of course, this ranking would be different if you weren't facing an NBA defense.

That's our biggest weakness this season, the lack of 3 point shooting.

If both Ray and Eddie House struggle from 3 point land, then Rondo will also struggle.

This team needs to rely on the 3 point shot because we have no inside game.

Actually we're not that bad as a team. We're better than average, but not like the Magic, for example.

We're also one of the best FG% teams in the NBA.

That is based almost primarily on 3pt% though. I think KG takes some blame there, for the fact that he is shooting better than 73% from "inside," and yet is only taking 26% of his attempts from there. There are only three players shooting above 55% from inside and taking less than 26% of their shots from there are Vince Carter Joe Johnson and Antawn Jamison (playing on a horrible WAS team).

He might be a great 2 pt jump shot shooter, and that shot may be effective as either defenders are not versatile enough or not tall enough to stop that. Teams are likely to give him that shot to an extent because they can't do much about it and because statistically the 2 pt jump shot isn't as effective as other shots on a general level - they are probably used to not worrying about it. Plus KG is only shooting 46% from there right now, nothing too special

I think KG should be going to them jump shot more often when we absolutely need a score, perhaps, for reasons mentioned above. But his post offense is what is going to help open teammates' jump shots while opening more lanes to the hoop, as we are not going to get that post offense from anywhere else. Of course though, maybe my criticism here is misguided, since we seem to be statistically one of the best "inside" shooting teams in the league.

Posey is shooting out of his mind this season, compared to his past. We'll see if that, and his health, keeps up.
