not half bad for a change. foster sucks on D and O but he is at least a C with some rebounding ability. we're not giving up much. i think walker or giddens could slide into TA's role with almost equal effectiveness.

I like the idea of getting Foster but you can't assume we're going to get Marbury, in fact I think it's unlikely. With that said, we can't give up Tony because he's really the only guy on the second unit that is a legit scorer in more than 1 way; stephen graham is not known for offense. Also, why would you send Pruitt down to the NBDL? He's been playing really solid and if we have Marbury there's absolutely no need to have cassell active(put pruitt in his place).

I think that Marbury will sign with the C's for the rest of this season. He wants to finally be a part of a winning situation. Pruitt, I really like him, but with Rondo, Ray, Graham, Marbury, House and Cassell on the roster there's no room for another guard on the nba roster.

His offense isn't that good, but I think he's a big upgrade defensively over Baby.

He just signed an extension. Why would they trade him?

I like Foster a lot but I don't think Ind deals him.

You're assuming the Knicks will work out an extension BEFORE the March playoff roster deadline. With the way that 'negotiation' has turned acrimonious, it's more and more likely that Marbury won't accept anything less than he's owed, and the Knicks in turn will wait until after the deadline to finalize the buyout, thus forcing Marbury to sit the entire season. You can bet Danny's not assuming anything...

One of you more realistic ideas Cfan, but I don't think Indy has any interest. I'd love to see foster coming off the bench, I've always been a fan of his, he's just a tough defender and rebounder. But Indy knows this also, and what are we really offering them?
