Scal vs. Shaq

Post#1 » by Gant » Mon Jan 19, 2009 1:42 am

Perkins is out for tomorrow night.

It's pretty obvious Shaq wants no part of the Scalster. I pity the Suns. Scalabrine's gonna tear them up inside. They have no answer for him.

Very good. Then sub in the brilliant-ified Gerald and dazzle em with skillful aptitude.

Is Shaq playing tomorrow? This will be his 3rd game in 4 days.. They sat him for the Denver game on the 15th and may save him for a more winnable game in New York on the 21st.

That's just their excuse. They've been setting this up all season. He's scared of Scalabrine. All that "rest" stuff is just to make it seem like something else.

I smell the 350lbs of fear from here, no one wants any part of Scal. He's been the secret weapon, but I think the league is starting to take notice of his dominance.

Scal will have to use his lightning quickness against Shaq.(if he plays) I think we have to run like we're on fire to beat them. I wonder if the Suns will try doing Hack-a-Scala to stop the big red machine.

Big Baby's advise to Scal: "If Shaq gives you any lip, just pick him up over you're head and body slam him. It's easy."

Don't worry. I've contacted Shaq via twitter and asked that he not go for 40 points tonight. I think we'll be alright today. :D

I just heard Terry Porter and he said that Scal will get his 30 regardless of defensive strategy so he will try to convince the other guys to stay home on their guys.

I bet he changes this strategy when Scal goes for 22 in the first.

SHAQ -VS- SCAL

over the hill -- never climbed the hill
chocolate -- vanilla
gives himself multiple ludicrous nicknames -- named after a piece of meat by former coach
fat -- flabby
can't shoot 3's -- can hit 3's only when in starting rotation
hall-of-famer -- best baller in the scalabrine family
highly annoying -- surprisingly likeable
starter -- starter!?!

Whoa. Highly annoying? I appreciate everything Shaq has done for the game, namely asking Kobe how his ass tastes.

I believe this matchup will be resolved after the game at the In-N-Out Burger.

Is Glen Davis invited?
