Trades...

With the deadline just around a month away I figured maybe we should have an all-in-one trade thread, no?

Meh, here goes:
Bos out:TA, Bill Walker, Scal and the 3mil to make Scal disappear in June.
Bos in:Villanueva, Lue
Milwaukee gets something for nothing seeing as they're a purgatory team as is. Both the guys they're trading will be gone in the offseason, after another season without playoffs. They get TA, who is a decent backup defensive 2, a hit or miss prospect that's been lighting up the dleague in Billy Walker and Scal, who will look good waving their towel.
Slim chance it happens but they have some pieces we should go after imo.

Now somebody post a good idea!

I still think O'Bryant/Giddens/Cassel for Mccants is worth offering, With Sam being bought out and coming back

Also possibly something with Baby/Giddens for Sean Williams

I'd be in the market for some new underoos if we had Sean Williams getting Babys minutes

I also was looking at memphis' roster and i think they could help us out

Jaric (can play 1-3, pass when on with starters, score when on with the bench, defend etc)
Warrick (big athletic guy, block some shots, finish strong)

for

Scal (year less than Jaric's Deal)
TA - can someone give some rough explination of the BYC in tony's contract, does it mean in trades his salary counts for more, or less than its actually worth? anyway i think he would be a good fit with Mayo, cover Mayo's rookie D but doesnt need to handle the ball as much
And then any of the Giddens/Walker/Pruitt/Obryant/Davis group they would want

-edit- looking at warricks numbers this season it might be a little un realistic, but id love to get a big athlete like him on the team

One thing that kinda doesn't make us a great fit with Memphis is that they're(allegedly) going for capspace this offseason, and most of our salary filler are on deals that run through next season.

True, but Jaric seems the exception to their capspace plan, Scall knocks a year off that

I would think Giddens might be enough to get Williams. Do the nets even want this guy around?

I just don't see Giddens having enough value in MIN to make this worth Taylor having to buy out two players to get the roster to 13 to do a 3-for-1 deal.

Maybe include the 2009 BOS 1st for 2010 BOS 1st swap, and MIN includes Kevin Ollie, who's been playing surprisingly well -- 22 mpg in Dec keeping the kids organized. Maybe some cash for a buy-out.

Kevin Ollie would not be bad at all on this team.

I'd cry if we picked up Amundson, dude is a dead ringer for a wnba player.

What about prying David Lee away from NY by taking back Jefferies too? Give Them Scal, Powe and either TA or House...

New York could get more for Lee. Besides they hate us as much as we hate them. So don't expect a tea party between Walsh and Ainge.

Mo Pete seems to be getting little time with the Hornets. I think he would be a good addition to our bench. Maybe something like T.A./Sam and POB gets it done. Then do something like Giddens and a 2nd for Sean Williams.

Lee has more trade value than that. Maybe Boston can get Tim Thomas.

Good call, he's actually doing decent in NY too. Nate Robinson is another guy who would be good to thieve from them

I would be so pissed if he came here. I can't stand him and think he's a punk.

lol. I can definitely see where you guys are coming from, and I can't really blame you, but this team needs a scoring pg to take Gabe's minutes when the playoffs hit. Nate also seems to be a "love him on your team, hate him on the other" type of guy, which we're a team full of imo, it's like asking NY fans if they'd want Eddie House.
