what's more interesting is, amare barely passed BRUCE BOWEN !

I mean, he's BRUCE f...in BOWEN !! Guy's averaging 2.8 pts, 1.9 rebs and 0.6 assists in 20 mins and if he only got 68k more votes, he would've started !!

I wish it were like bowen and yi starting... that would have been hilarious.. oh amare and iverson starting is not the best thing, either

I love how Perk got the second most votes for a center in the East. Granted he was about 2.5million votes behind Howard, but still, not bad for Perk.

Does that mean he comes off the bench at center for the East?

Not automatically -- Yi won't get selected, for example. But if I were a coach I'd vote for one of Perk or Z, over a PF who might in theory be a better player.

I think. Let's see.

The roster is starting with 2 combo guards, and 1 each SF, PF, and C.

Add 1 C, 2 PFs (Bosh and somebody else), 2 other forwards (Pierce/Granger/Orlando guys), 2 big guards (e.g., Johnson/Allen), and one PG (multiple candidates).

Works for me.

Z over Perk if healthy. But he isn't.

Sucks to be Chris Bosh and Devin Harris. Really both deserve to be starting in this game. While I love KG, he should be coming off the bench.

As for the reserves I believe the backup center has to actually be a center. So Chris Bosh can't be it, seeing he was voted on as a forward. Although hopefully I'm wrong on that.

I'll just give my All-Star teams for fun.

See, Iverson's inclusion this year somewhat ruins it for some others. I mean you can make a legitimate case this season for quite a few first time candidates. Among them, Granger, D. Lee, Harris, Calderon, Rondo, Horford, Iguodala, Okafor, Nelson, Murphy and Bargnani.

This is from yesterday.

What makes this interesting are the recent injuries to possible candidates as the eastern reserves.

Calderon - Day-to-day
Harris - Day-to-day
Horford - Day-to-day
Ilgauskas - Injured
