...please forgive me. I said some bad things. Hurtful things. I claimed you were being useless; ineffective. You've proved me wrong. Who loves you baby? Great two games. I apologize I doubted you (and so should you bfb.)
On another subject:
WHERE ARE THEY NOW
Garnett's elbow jumpshot
Powe's inside game

Here's one Shaq analogy that applies -- he looks like a klutz moving in slow motion, but actually is pretty quick.

Baby's little elbow jumper looks a lot like PJ's.

I'm happy for Glen Davis. He has been playing a lot better over the last two weeks. He was a key reason why we won tonight. It was great to see. I've always felt that Davis is better than Powe. I'm sure a lot of people might disagree. But a lot of poeple also disagreed when I said Ryan Gomes was better than Justin Reed. This was back when Reed was giving minutes over Gomes.
Anyway I'm happy that Big Baby is starting to play better. Props to you also Cyclical. It's been just a few weeks of good basketball from Davis, but I hope he keeps it up.

He had a great game yesterday but I am not going all crazy just yet. When he plays well over a longer stretch of games I will get excited now it was just a couple of good games after 20 horrible ones.

I always like to see him, he's active, sets great picks and chases loose balls. Sometimes his game is junk but I think that he's learned that his offensive games going to come off the pops and not in the paint and he's a good defender on the real bigs. Good bench player on any team, IMO.
Hate to say it, this really hurts, but Scals has become a similar player, real tough defender, great on switches, knows what his offense is, which isn't all that much...

It's amazing how many people hated on BBD, considering he is a big only in his 2nd year and everyone knows (or should know) most bigs take several years to develop their games. It is a testament to Big Baby that he is carving himself a spot in the rotation of a championship team only in his second year. Actually he did that as a rookie.

Remember how many years it took Perk to get minutes? More good to come from BBD as he continues to develop.
Kudos to Cyclical for coming clean.

This is quite the kneejerk thread. He has had a nice stretch of games, but so have a lot of guys. The season is 82 games long, just ask Oliver Miller or Robert Traylor. Let's see if Davis can keep it going

I'd be more of a believer if he rebounded at a higher rate. He's behind all of KG, Perk, and Powe.
That said, even more relevant is the team's rebounding rate when he's on the floor, rather than his personal rate, and I don't know how that is.

The reason Baby was such a good college player and for whatever good stuff he's done as a pro is his abnormally quick feet. Last fall he came into camp and didn't bring the magic feet. For whatever reason he looked out of shape. Now he looks like he's got his conditioning back. This is the reason for the turnaround.
If he keeps it up it's important since the team has been so weak at the back up big man spot with both Baby and Powe being inconsistent. Keep it up Baby, but stay within your role.

Agreed...remember, even Blount could string some good games together...

The difference between Blount and Baby is that Baby actually gives it 100% every night where Blount just looked for his paycheck.
