Who wants to see another Celtics vs. Lakers Series?

I sure as heck do.
The thought of a these two teams not having a Round Two makes me sick.
The Lakers have a deep team with the likes of Odom and Ariza, but Big Baby is no chopped liver.
This time they will have Bynum, who happens to be on Fire. But the Celtics are the Celtics, and as Orlando found out tonight, it's not easy to beat the C's even with Dwight "Ron" Howard in the Middle.

Poor Lebron... left Out in the Cold, Rain and Snow again...

Not me....I'd be happy if the Lakers NEVER make it to the Finals again....I hate their Front running/Bandwagon/Kobe-buttkissing fans--and I live in LA!!

If it weren't for Chris Ahole Wallace...the Lakers would be a 4th seed in the West.

No interest in playing them. I really don't like the Hollywood hype, I'd enjoy playing someone else. NO would be cool, Rondo/Paul matchup, Posey/Pierce, that would be worth tuning in to.

Those were not Celtic fans. Those were Laker fans taking seats made available when Celtic fans boycotted the reprehensible Lakers.

Uninformed statements like that are why LA fans are not respected as sports fans.

Chanting for Kobe is out of respect for the sport of basketball and showing appreciation for someone who plays it well. Boston fans = Basketball fans, LA fans = Front running team fans.

Bags on heads shows management that your embarassed by the product the are putting on the floor. Buying tickets, showing up and showing the management of the team hopefully gets them moving to make the team better. Buying tickets and not showing up makes the management think you had something better to do that day.

I really don`t care. We have some tough opponents in the east, let`s take care of them first and then think about the western teams.

And LA Titletown you need to change your name into LA+MIN Titletown or something like that. Just because you bought a few titles doesn`t mean you won them...

I just wanna see the Celts in the finals. I'd prefer to see them play SA or LA for history's sake, but in the end I could care less.

Part of me does cos I wanna beat them again...but the thought of losing to them and letting them win a 10th title really would bug me...

They're like the kid in school who gets grades ALMOST as good as yours (or is ALMOST as good an athlete as you) but tries to get everyone to see him as an equal...

What's funny is that I don't think the people want to see Boston LA again. We saw the big 3 win their rings last year, it was a great story, BOS/LAL rivalry revisited, but really...If there was a vote, and there probably will be around playoff time, my guess is the people will most want to see Lakers/Cavs. Kobe/ Lebron. Present vs. Future.

I guarantee Lakers are the team in the West that people want to see in the finals. Boston from the East though, I wouldn't bet on it.

You say this first as a bitter Lakers fan who is upsets till at how badly y'all got rolled in the Finals last year. And secondly, you make a HUGE assumption that the Lakers are adores as "America's Team" outside of LA...which is not the case. Other fans outside of Boston also loathe the **** Lakers!

I can see people not wanting the Celtics in the finals because they have a history of winning going back to the 60's. 70's and 80's, which made the Celtics a hated team.

What I dont get is why you think people want to see the Lakers in there, other then the Kobe angle.

If people want to see past teams versus future teams, San Antonio would get the nod over the Lakers. Spurs have won it three times since the Lakers last did and 4 times to 3 times ( Lakers) dating back to 10 years.

If any team is passing the baton to the Cavs, it would be the Spurs before the Lakers.

After the Christmas day loss, I can see why Celtic fans wouldn't want to face the Lakers.

The Lakers are pretty much a lock to make the Finals, really no challengers in the West. The Celtics have the harder road, so if they make it there, we'll get to see a rematch with the Lakers. And since it's a harder road in the East this year, the Lakers will most likely have HCA.

I want to see it because it means Boston is in the Finals.

Not that it wouldn't be a good match up of the two teams, but anybody who is dying to see "Kobe vs LeBron" is a poser who probably watches about 10 NBA games a year.

Hopefully we can continue to be to LeBron what the C's and Pistons were to Jordan in the 80's coronation delayed.

To me, having the C's beating the Lakers in the finals is pretty much equivalent to the Red Sox beating the Yankees in the World Series.

Wish we could face the Yankees in the Series instead of the ALCS, but I'll settle for watching the C's beat the Lakers in the Finals...repeatedly, over and over again for the next few years!

LOL. They way the Lakers and their fans celebrated after that game, you would have thought the won the championship then.

Its was just another game to the Celtics.

I wish Celtics won, but it obviously was a monumental moment for your Laker squad and fans.

Didnt they drop streamers from the ceiling? Do they do that at all Laker games?
