Good read.
Not to take anything away from the Lakers fast start (I would never ever want to say a single negative thing about the Lakers), but they have had the EASIEST schedule in the entire league to this point. One little tinsel related injury and New Orleans or San Antonio could still end up the top seed in the West.

I certainly would not mind seeing the Lakers lose out west, and the other teams out there are pretty good. In fact a four-game sweep in the first round would be the next best thing to flag 18. But I think if the Lakers are healthy, they likely win the west. I know their schedule has been generous, but the Lakers are a pretty good (and usually lucky) team.

nice article, elrod. it's interesting to note that the Cs have like 4 or 5 back-to-back games left and the others have 6 to 9 left. There's potential there for Cs to gain a game or so on these other teams.

Good read as always Elrod. Btw, when did you start referring to yourself in 3rd person?

Great topic and read...the same thing i have been saying the whole season...to win championship we have to have home court advantage...
I compared the 4 team schedules week ago
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=872890I will be hard for Celtics...I still think Orlando has the most chance schedule wise...but who knows
Every game is important and that 2-7 slump could cost us championship
If we remember we lost to
@LAL
@GSW
@POR
@NY
@CHA
HOU
@CLE
OK, losing to LAL, POR,CLE away happens, they are great teams. Losing at Charlotte and to Houston at home the next day, that hurts, because we should win both. The hardest losses for me were at GSW and NY...the games which are must win. Those 2 could cost us home court advantage and championship.

Hey, the third person thing was just for the subject line. I am not going Hollywood on you. I don't get paid enough to have an ego.
