Doc said Eddie would be in the contest just for the
free air fare for him and his family,
even though the contest would get in the way of his family reunion,
he'd find the time to show up for it.

Maybe someone like Granger (knee)
sits out the game before the All-Star game
so that Stern can name an injury replacement.
Hopefully Ray gets in where he belongs.
