J.R. Giddens sent back to the NBDL

Post#1 » by return2glory » Thu Feb 5, 2009 7:31 pm

J.R. was sent back down to the D-League today. It was a good move because he only came back up to get treatment on his injured wrist.

Bill Walker should go back down too once Scalabrine returns. It's obvious Doc is not going to player Walker unless it's garbage time.

I agree, both these guys look good to me, I think Giddens is going to surprise people when he finally gets on the floor, he can pass, score, rebound and defend well, he sort of reminds me of Marquise Daniels with more upside (Josh Howard-esque would be my dream) from what I've seen, a solid, athletic bench guy at the least. Bill just looks good every time he is out there. But with no rush to develop either of them this year they'll be better served getting playing time in the D-League if everyone is healthy.
