This is an inspiring story to read, for both young and older people, about a former NBA star who has decided in retirement to return to college in order to earn his degree.
David was a member of the Boston Celtics between 1994-1997. He signed with the Charlotte Hornets as a free agent in July of 1997. He was let go by the C's (one of the dumbest decisions of the Rick Pitino era) even though he filled a need. He averaged 12.5 PPG, 4.4 AST, 2.5 REB, 78.6 FT, 36.8 3PT, and 42.4 from the field in 31.53 minutes-per-game.
