Carlos Delfino

Wasn't there talk of some teams attempting to sign him for this season?

I know Pargo signed with another overseas team. But, I wonder could Ainge have an interest in Delfino in the off season.

Now all eyes are on Pargo and Delfino. The Russian economy has been especially hard hit because of the large drop in oil prices. Pargo, who is playing on a one-year, $4 million deal, has been late in getting paid.

Delfino, who played for Toronto last season, has been paid on time by his Russian team, Colangelo said. There were indications that Delfino might leave after he clashed with the Khimki coach, but the team has since changed coaches.

Still, it was money that drove players from the N.B.A. to Europe, and it will probably be money that drives them back. Most will wait until the off-season, when N.B.A. teams have more roster flexibility and salary-cap space.
