We got nothing, maybe a draft pick.

So we are freeing up some roster spots for something. I'm assuming it's a second round pick, much like the last one we got from the Kings. Nice to see Sactown is willing to help us out.

Change your title. You make it seem like something went down.

The Celtics have traded backup center Patrick O'Bryant to the Sacramento Kings. The move was made for salary-cap purposes and the club will not receive a player in return, according to an NBA source.

There is the possibility that the club will receive a draft pick in exchange for the 7-footer, who averaged 1.5 points in 26 games for the Celtics after signing as a free agent in the offseason.

O'Bryant was not at the Celtics' shootaround this afternoon.

Crazy. Maybe we really were talking to them about Nocioni and Danny realized nothing was going to happen and Sacramento for some reason likes POB.

What a shameful waste of space that guy turned out to be... all of the talent, none of the commitment.

We better get some good players out of this...otherwise we're going to have a severely undermanned and thin bench, regardless of how much Cassell and POB sucked...

Sam Cassell and Patrick O'Bryant for Joe Smith and Stephon Marbury? Sounds damn good to me.

We could only have gotten Marbury and Joe Smith if was was to make a trade for one of them. Now that the Cs traded POB to the Kings that gives us two roster spot to fill. i.e Joe Smith and Marbury.
