Surprise cuts?

Sorry to create another seemingly useless thread, BUT, are there any big names that are going under the radar who could be bought out?
Before the deadline we heard about how bad these owners are doing financially so why not save some cash if the team isn't headed for the playoffs? For the players, they take an immediate hit in the wallet but could help themselves in the longrun with the exposure they get being on a contender and playing into June.
Detroit is in a nosedive right now, any chance they drop AI, Sheed or Kwame?
Would Indy let Rasho go?
Who else might we see pop up on the waiver wire in the next few days?

Sheed would be awesome. I wonder what is going to become of him in the offseason. I hope he doesn't end up in Cleveland.

Why in the world would Detroit drop any of those players? First off they would not be saving all that much money, second Detroit will make the play-offs as is, third this would have to be done by March 1st.

If by some chance Rasho did become available (dont think he will) i think he'll end up with the spurs

Gooden's name has been thrown out there a little but if he got released, someone with some of their MLE would grab him. He's one of the worst defenders at his position anyway. He wouldn't fit in with the Celts defensively.

Guys on ending deals are always candidates but this is all about money and that is going to be for both sides. All the doom and gloom is going to make agents reluctant to give much guaranteed money as guys may struggle to get any kind of offers in FA. Most of the guys that I thought would be candidates for buyouts ended up getting moved in FA.

I would've an interest in Nesterovic. Funny, I was just thinking about him this morning. Wish he was available right now. He played with Garnett.

Don`t see any reason for Rasho to get bought out.
Besides if he was he would go back to SA. He loved it there. He didn`t enjoy playing in Minny with KG, so he would never come here, IMO.

Also, Gooden has a nagging injury, they are not sure, it might be a hernia. But he said attempting to play in Chicago was the worst pain he's felt in his life.

I'm going to have to disagree with Detroit making the playoffs. I've never seen a coach as lost and inept as Curry. It's pretty sad honestly.
If they were to cut someone like Kwame (who apparently gets about as many minutes as Billy Walker) he'd be a better pickup than Mikki Moore, defensively at least. Moore, assuming he still has his jumpshot, would be more helpful offensively, but if you wanted a 2nd Perk on the backline you could do much worse than Kwame.

Marbury will do. He is most talented out there. I am not sure of those big guys after Moore. They are basically done.
