Paul's Thumb......

Post#1 » by Kefa461 » Thu Feb 26, 2009 12:59 pm

Los Angeles - Celtics All-Star forward Paul Pierce scored 20 points despite playing with a dislocated right thumb injury he suffered in the third quarter of a 93-91 loss to the Clippers on Wednesday night. Pierce said after the game that he doesn't expect a long-term problem with the thumb that was heavily wrapped afterward. "It's just sore right now, throbbing. I dislocated it a couple times. X-rays negative. It should be all right..," Pierce said. "I don't know if it really affected me. It was definitely sore. It was manageable. It's never happened to me before."

They should just let him rest it for a week or two. With the minutes he played in the last 10 games a couple of games off would do him good.

Sure, we are already shorthanded but at home we should still beat IND...

Hope his thumb is OK...this is not good. Little nagging injuries add up to a team after a while...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!
