He's a better shooter than Rondo and Tony Allen and can drive to the hoop better and score or dish than Eddie house. Why wouldnt the C's use him?

nobody would trust the Celtics if they did that. also, we NEED Marbury. It's a low risk high reward situation for both the Celtics and Stephon. Marbury is playing for a new contract and a title. He won't get either one of those things without being a good Soul in Boston.
the best way for Marbury to redeem himself in this league would be to play his roll and play it well. Help Boston win a title and refrain from complaining or messing with chemistry.
If he comes in and plays his role well then there will be opps for him this offseason.

I thought a poster before provided information that the March first date doesn't apply to Marbury because he hasn't played at all this season. So, if true, what sense does it make to sign Marbury in an effort to keep him away from other playoff teams from pursuing him if he still qualifies for a playoff roster after such date.

I knew this rumor was bogus just by reading its headline. Are media types and national fans that jealous or loathing of Marbury to post ridiculous articles like this. Look, Marbury's still a name in the NBA that the media gravitates toward. Everyone's trying to get in on a story. They want to be the first to break something.
