Wyc buys groceries

In case you were curious, Wyc buys and bags his own groceries.
I was walking through the whole-foods in Wayland and I passed right buy him at the deli section. Out of the corner of my right eye, in my peripheral vision, I noticed him at the last second. I avoided the double-take, acted calm and made a u-turn by the salad bar. Now I was standing right behind him, and I could definitely tell, it was most assuredly Mr. Grousbeck, accompanied by Mrs. Wycliffe and son.
He (Wyc) was wearing jeans and Celtics sweatshirt. Despite my past botherings of Celtics organization members -- Doc and SamIam and Vlad in Dallas, Clifford Ray at Bertuccis, Perk at healthpoint, Tony Brown at pre-season bbq's -- this time I decided to leave the man well enough alone, he did not want to be bothered I figured.
As I'm leaving though, I notice, right across from me, the Grousbeck family at the checkout counter. It was a HUGE purchase, and there was Wyc bagging everything up (heineken light one of the purchases). Fate would have it that we would be leaving the store, he with his cart full of bags, I with an armful, walking out to our cars, both at the same time.
I'm a few steps behind him, and I call out, "Hey Wyc, thank you." he turns around, and I say, "season ticket holder for four years," to which he replies, "Well then, thank you." I finished the conversation sans handshake, mumbled something about, "I was there when we won it, what a great party, thanks again" and then we went our separate ways.
Random huh? Thought I'd share.
