The refs FINALLY started calling things even-handedly the last six minutes, after Tommy's series of screaming fits, specifically after Tommy accused them of corruption, and without stinting on the decibels. The TV camera also showed a ref whipping his head around and -- I think -- noticing Tommy's commentary.

They ignored Coach #1, but Coach #2 finally got through to them.

Hahaha! I dunno about that, but I'd like to believe it. Tommy was yelling that it was CRIMINAL and that there should be an investigation. I love Tommy. He reminds me so much of my late, great, AWESOME grandfather who passed away a few months ago. Tommy has been going ballistic on the **** refs since the Donaghy incident, and he just does not give a **** anymore what he says about them. He can't be fined. **** David Stern and his cronies, Tommy tells the TRUTH.

Tommy is Correct 95% of the time---but most people think he's a blowhard---nope, he knows what he's talking about!!

^^^ He definitely knows what he's talking about the overwhelming majority of the time. But after the Donaghy thing, he doesn't try to sugarcoat his real feelings. Which is why he's so damn awesome.

Tommy reminds me of Lloyd bridges in the movie Airplane, calm and collected at the beginning of the game then disheveled and sniffing glue and screaming at the end of the game.

I forget when it was, but Tommy once got a technical foul while broadcasting a game.

Awesome, love Tommy Gun, he was on tonight, he shows for the big games just like everyone else.

It was awesome and likely necessary but I have a bad feeling that Tommy crossed a line tonight to be honest. Mike hinted at it in the postgame.

Was anyone watching on the national broadcast was there any comment on it?

Good point. The word "criminal" loudly repeated is surely won't please David Stern. But then, he modified it to "criminal or incompetent" after a time-out.

I listened to Hubie Brown with great interest earlier. But toward the end of the game, they were pitching other matchups, and I stuck with the Celtics broadcast.

Tommy embodies the Celtics. Hope he never gives up the ghost.

I love Tommy calling the Celtics games and I dread the day he won't be doing them anymore. Mike and Tommy are such a great team, perfect balance for the telecasts.

Yeh, he crossed the "Johnny Most" line.

The pro wrestling aspect of the game is getting a little excessive. I know they have to make Cleveland and LA appear competitive.

How did Mike hint Tommy crossed the line in the postgame? I feel asleep during the postgame so I must have missed it...

Also Tommy was right about that call...that was as bad and obviously egregious as the Pierce "offensive foul" in Detroit during the playoffs last year (hello, Bennett Salvatore!). Mo Williams LEPT into Powe and got the call...**** RIDICULOUS...
