Davis +27
Walker -24 (in only 12 1/2 minutes).

I didn't see the game, but I'm assuming Walker was basically the backup PF, while Moore was the backup C.

Neither Davis nor Walker had personal stats that would lead one to expect such a disparity.

Particularly odd since Davis is cited in discussion as having played terrible defense late.

I am pretty sure that you simply can't use +/- with a sample size this small.

Davis played the start of the game when the C's were shooting about 70%, and little of the 2'nd due to fouls when the Heat went crazy. Frankly I think it's more that Pierce and Rondo were hot and cold shooting first and second more than anything. Davis seemed to be having a real hard time keeping in front of his man on D, some of his fouls he looked pretty bad on. Bum ankle, no wonder. I'm not a Davis fan, but I'm glad he was in the game.

Weird stat for me is Giddens playing time, it's surprising he still can't get on the floor with so many players out. Danny hasn't made too many mistakes recently, but that pick is looking real bad. Chalmers would have looked real nice with that pick.

Don't count Giddens out yet, he was a very good college player and is an exceptional athlete. He has the potential to be an excellent defender, very long arms and very fast.
