I blame Doc Rivers and the rest of the C's organization for.

Having to go though these difficult injuries when we are almost at the end of a season slowly entering the playoffs scene. We have players who are injured, and MIGHT not even be 100% come playoff time.
Why do I say all this;
I think San Antonio is the best team in the NBA when it comes to HOW AND WHEN to use your best players. I remember at one point, Popovich benched his big 3 and they ended up losing but Popovich didn't care. He knew his squad needs to be healthy at the end of a regular season and come playoff time.
What Doc and his staff did is BURNT our entire BIG 3. Look now what's happening. KG is injured and still looks rusty on offensive end...the more we rest him..the more rusty he will be. We cannot afford to have KG back in the playoffs at only 80%...he must be 100%++
I blame Doc and the rest of the organization for adding unnecessary mileage to our older players.
Pierce is playing RISKY and unnecessary minutes. At one stretch he was playing 40+ mpg. He's not 22 anymore. Pierce's thumb is injured, Ray Allen's elbow is messed up, Rondo's ankles are not that good... seems like Perk is the only healthy one out of our starting 5.
Players that get injured regular season have a greater chance of re-injuring themselves in the playoffs. So, it's really looking bad for us. I still see us going to the Finals against Cleveland and that's where our journey ends. I can't already wait for a new season...

Yeah, it's ignore time. Grats diesel, your dumb attention seeking attempts at riling the board up have earned you a special privelege, being the only person on my list.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't we just win a championship with that sorry ass coach and the rest of organization? The Celtics are still winning without KG, whom they are being extra cautious with, to make sure he's as close to 100% as possible. If we were fighting for our playoff lives, he'd be playing. What's the difference between 59 and 62 regular season wins? We're not getting HCA over Cleveland anyways. Why rush someone out there, so we can be 15 games ahead of Atlanta, instead of 12?

^And remember, CLE needs HCA way more than we do...we can win on the road. 12 of CLE's 13 losses are roadies...

Exactly! Although not having HCA against Cleveland will be very tough to overcome, but IMO, they are the only team that can beat the Celtics. I know I'm being greedy, but I just want the big 3 to win 2 more titles. Then Lebron can win the next 5, I don't care.

Wow, I'm gone for the weekend, and I come in here and what do I see...ohh boy...excellent work guys...keep it up...
What I don't understand however, is why all the negative force pushed towards me. Many of you complained about the big 3 playing too many mpg as the season winds down. Now when we have our best player injured, and could be rusty come playoff time, and when I blame the organization for having our vets play too many mins I get attacked wow.

I've been posting on Celtic boards for years and lurking RealGM for a while, and I must say.......For a complete lack of perspective and understanding of the physicality and grind of an NBA season, you are about as on point as anyone I've ever come across. Congrats, you're lost!
What do you suppose would happen if we sat, say, our best 8 players for every game the rest of the season? Who would play? Pruitt, Doc, Tommy T and Kevin Eastman maybe? And then we'd be in just stellar shape when the playoffs started, right? You've got it backwards, chief, you prepare for the playoffs by playing, not sitting. Sitting causes rustiness. Tell me you're 13 and I'll understand.

So do you suggest that we rush back our best player from injury to win a few extra meaningless regular season games? Besides, KG will be back to play the last few games to tune up. Although they might sit everyone in the season finale, since that's the 2nd of the back-to-back games.
Would you rather have a less than 100% KG or healthy and rested KG, who may take a few final regular season games to get into the flow?

tombattor, as we've seen on here the last few weeks, some people are so obsessed with HCA they'd rather go into the playoffs hobbled as the #1 seed than the approach the C's are taking...get healthy and be the 2 or 3...it's like doing this>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

trying to reason with 'em...

Last Year we won a championship because of our HCA. How many playoff games we won AWAY last year.
Exactly
