Ahh collegehumor always has the best stuff, you should check out the Yankee Stadium prank.

That was great.
I have a basketball prank, but its not on video so it won't be as funny but here goes.
There was a guy in my high school who was a decent hoop player, great shooter, who had the ego of a McDonald's All American. (Side note: He ended up playing Div. 3 so he was ok). A mutual friend, Chris, who was a teammate of this guy pranked him pretty good.
A few weeks before Creighton came to play here at the arena, Chris called him claiming to be the coach of Creighton. He said that they had been scouting him and the they are very interested in giving him a scholarship...I heard the tapes, it was funny. He really stroked his ego, talked to his dad too. So about a week before the game, Chris' girlfriend calls and confirms they are coming and tells them the tickets will be at will call. They told him that one of the student managers would be looking for him, but if they couldn't find him in his seat that he should come down to the locker room with his family so the coach could meet everyone.
So his entire family and a buddy of his go down to the arena and the tickets are waiting for him. Of course the student manager never shows up, so they head down to the locker room where they are not let passed security, of course. They make such a ruckus, security goes and gets the coach, who after hearing the story says, "Sorry kid, never heard of you. But we always have tryouts for walk ons and your welcome to come out."

Thats a good one too, haha, I wouldve been heated.
Did he tell the kid after, "yo man, those calls were just me messing with you, gettin your hopes up," or did he just leave the kid wondering what the hell happened?
