After a dozen years in the NBA battling the perception that he is one of the most self-absorbed players in the league, the main criticism of his game after a month in Boston is that he is not shooting enough. "They want me to shoot the ball," Marbury acknowledged following Sunday's 103-84 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder. "But I shoot when I feel it and when it's there. i think it's funny a guy who once took 19.1 FGA a game as a net was never a volume shooter.
as a knick though, I don't think you can really say that he was.

Marbury is fitting in well. Keep doing what he is doing and his shooting opportunites will open up. Marbury knows what he is doing.

Well the reason why we brought Marbury in was for POINTS, not for defense. He's got the dropping dimes part right, but we need him to score, period.

If he enables other bench players to score by creating scoring chances I'm totally fine with that. Bench points are bench points, it doesn't matter who gets the stats for them.

I thought we needed him for creating offense. If it's for his own or someone else's shot doesn't matter at all in the first place. Of course he should be more efficient but I'm still confident that he's about to come back.
