Ainge speaks on KG.......

Post#1 » by Kefa461 » Tue Mar 31, 2009 4:09 pm

Kevin Garnett is expected to miss his 15th game in the past 19 tomorrow night when the Celtics host Charlotte, and the notion continues to grow that the state of the forward’s knee is worse than initially thought. But Danny Ainge continued to insist yesterday that the initial diagnosis of a strained right knee muscle hasn’t changed. “Nothing has changed from our initial diagnosis to where we are now,” said the Celtics president of basketball operations. “We’re just being cautious.” Boston Herald

Though Garnett was forced to miss the past two days after playing limited time in four straight games, Ainge also disputed the notion that Garnett’s condition has worsened. “This isn’t a setback,” Ainge said. “Not at all.” Boston Herald

I just wonder with how they hav handled other injuries if they didn't hurt him more by brining him back. Think of Al jeffersons anckle, wally's anckle, scals head and raefs Knee. Those are pretty significant mess ups.

Everyone knew that Raef trade was horrible. Stupid vendetta trade. So early in Ainge's career too!

I've thought that from the minute it happened....oh well...

I hope Ainge is pulling a Bill Belichick as far as KG's injury is concerned and not reporting it but we shall see...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

DA said it later on that he traded Fatoine because he felt he had the ear of the team. He was afraid of that being devisive.
