We're still better than Chicago without him. But it may be the only series we win now...

This is terrible news.

Great news. ugh. These bastards bs'ed us the whole time. Atleast with Brady we knew in a cpl hours his season was over, this is like a cruel tease.

The guy had the time to post second hand comments on his blog but not turn on his radio? Go get um Tiger, that's the kind of journalism that'll win you a Pulitzer Prize.

is this some type of joke? Well either way were not going to role over and die but if this is true it might be the end of the big 3.

Doc said after seeing KG run.....He's not ready as far as I'm concerned he won't be ready for the playoffs...we will go on without him."

The Globe quoted Doc as saying "After today, there's no way".....KG must have looked bad/been in a lot of pain in practice...

Not good news at all...we will beat CHI without him but after that it gets cloudy...

As far as I'm concerned, the Cs are in the ECF with or without KG. Can the Cs beat Cleveland without him? Probably not. But never underestimate the heart of a champion.

There is the potential for two to three more weeks of rest for KG. I will naively hold out hope.

Like I said this is more than a strain. I also said that on Thursday or Friday the celtics would come out and give a statuts update.

I thought KG would play a little in the play-offs but I am not at all suprised he is done for the year. Oh well Lakers and Cavs it is.

Bulls fan, I wouldnt get too down on this as you guys fought hard w/o him for the last month and kept the 2 spot. I think you guys will still make it to the ECF (Orlando still won't get past you). Could be Rondo's time to shine now/step up as I feel he holds himself back sometimes and can go off if needed. Cleveland still has to go through Detroit, and probably Miami before they get to you. They will be worn and torn down once they get to the ECF. Your path is still easier. With that said, as a Bulls fan I am looking at this as a huge opportunity. But as a basketball fan man I love KG and this is bad.

True, Doc did leave the door open for KG to return...

I just feel the C's and the medical staff botched this...had they scoped his knee 3 months ago, he'd be raring to go right now...

WTF is going on? Yesterday "he is ready for game one and it is up to KG when he comes back" according to Danny Ainge and today Doc is saying as far he is concerned he won't be ready for the entire postseason. Nothing like being on the same page headed into the postseason.

This blows no sugar coating it I feel like the Easter Bunny is lying limp and bloody in my arms. Thank god I don't have to work today, I feel a bender coming on.

can't say I'm surprised but I'm po'd about the way the Celts and KG handled this from beginning to end. Can someone please refresh my memory about why he didn't have surgery 2-3 months ago when this became a problem. How can we go from yesterday where doc is saying he thinks he'll paly to today where it's no way. WTF happened? The miscommunication from the celtics has been mind boggling. they completely mishandled this from beginning to end. Hate to say this but I'm po'd at KG as well for not being forthright about this and taking care of it when he should have.

Honestly we can beat Chi and maybe even Orlando since we have homecourt. If KG is bad Id just rest him til game three of ECF. We can try to steal one of the first two in CLE. If not we come home for Garnetts debut which will pump us up hopefully win both home and then have enough momentum to take game 5 in Cle.

ANYTHINGS POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heads (trainers, team doctors, coaches, management, etc) should roll for this. They had two freaking months to repair whatever was wrong with the knee, instead they sat around with their thumbs up their butts and did nothing. What a joke.

Absolutely devastated. I feel so bad for the team, the players, the whole organization. This sucks.
