Huge shot by Iggy to win the game

I'm glad they lost after Zack Zarba screwed the sixers on that over the backboard call. THE worst ref in the league.

Everybody's been talking about how we are going to be matched up with the Magic in the 2nd round, as if that's a done deal...

So, I know this a convenient time for me to get on here and talk about Philly has a chance. But, I can document from another message board that I picked beforehand Philly to win the series in six.

Thad Young is well fit to defend Rashard Lewis. Iggy is a very solid wing defender who can bother a not-fully-healthy Turk. Andre Miller is better than Rafer Alston. SG is arguably Philly's weakest position when Iggy isn't in the game, but SG is also Orlando's weakest position. Orlando is a poor offensive rebounding team (contrary to belief), which counters Philly's weakness on the defensive glass. Philly is strong on the O-boards to counter Orlando's strength on the D-boards.

Sure, Orlando boasts Dwight Howard. But is he good enough offensively to make a big mark without a lot of support from the rest of his lineup? I think Dalembert and Ratliff can bother him just enough to give Philly a legit chance to win the series.

People don't talk enough about Iggy, he is underrated.

So...my point, Philly has a chance to knock the Magic off. I don't feel that anyone here feels we can't knock of Philly without KG. If he can actually play vs the Cavs, we are definitely still in this.

Cleveland must be salivating at the prospect of playing Philly or Chicago, being able to completely take off a round (or two) before the ECF (or Finals). Or is it re-seeded each round and they would play ATL/MIA? Still, they'd roast each and every one of those teams unless Wade is insane.

BTW..is this not the EASIEST season ever? I mean Cleveland could be looking at ATL-MIA in the second round, and one CHI-PHI in the ECF...Cleveland and LA will cruise to the finals...this is horrible...
But I think ATL might make some noise though..they are **** on the Heat...and they have a damn good roster too...

Hmm. Not sure how this happened. We beat Philly with just Paul playing in a very important game for them, and then they needed overtime to beat the Cavs bench. To me it looked like they'd be quickly eliminated from the playoffs, but I guess that they remembered how they got those 41 wins and maybe they were just in a rough stretch.

They suck...

Im not sure how it happened either...Orlando must have taking a crap on the court...just like we did to Chicago...I'm sure both teams will pick it up though, and meet in the 2nd round...

I think both the Magic and Celtics have enough to come back and win the series, but I doubt either the Sixers or Bulls go down without a fight, and it's very possible for either the magic or celts to lose.

One big thing that Philly has in their favor versus the Magic -

Philly is a team that can thrive on emotion. Orlando is a team that relies on an X's and O's system to overachieve. Emotion can actually go against the Magic as if they are led to stray at all from their system they are no longer nearly so formidable.

I think Boston has a better chance of losing than Orlando. Chicago is a much much better team than Philadelphia...

Philly just matches up very well with Orlando. Kinda like how we suck against young and athletic teams.
My Starting 5:

PG: Allen Iverson
SG: Paul Pierce
SF: Kevin Durant
PF: Kevin Garnett
C: Patrick Ewing
