Paul went off but Rondo is really pushing the team. When he's on, we don't lose. Great game all around.

Oh, Baby!

I couldn`t be happier about the way we played today on the defensive end. If we play like that we are a completely different team!

Great game all around! Paul with a superb start and pretty much everybody played well. Rajon is just sensational this series and Marbury was solid but the victory cigar has to got to Davis! The best game of his career!

I feel much more confident now that I have seen us play celtic defense again! When we play like this we can beat anybody!

Pierce..without him we don't crush them from the get go...and we have some trouble...Pierce gets my vote..

This is going to be a close race for the cigar. I went with Rondo. He's making it dam hard for the haters doubt him.

PP making 20++ points per night are normal.
It's Rondo and Big Baby tied for the victory cigar

I ain't gonna lie, I was exhausted by the start of tonight's game. I watched the first quarter and passed out. Pierce's hot start gave me the assurance that the celtics had this game in control.

Pierce gets my vote.

Rondo over Pierce -- better stats, better defensive success, and at least equal in the adjustments one makes to the stats from actually watching the game

Rondo! He's been our best player every game so far.

Really? I thought Baby played an absolutely EXCEPTIONAL game on the defense end...his steals, rebounding, and general disruption of the other team was **** awesome. Even though his point total was good, though, I found his shooting to be rather disappointing. He played a damn good overall game but it certainly wasn't his best game and Rondo was the engine driving the team all night!

I disagree. I also think it was his best game by far. And you said it yourself. He was exceptional in every area except shooting.

Until now Baby only had good games when his jump shot was falling and bad ones when it didn`t. This is the first time when he had a great game even though he wasn`t shooting well. It showed me that he can help this team even when he can`t hit the mid range jumper and that is huge, IMO.

Eh, I disagree. I think he played a hell of a game but it wasn't in the same league as Rondo's last night.

I am not necessarily saying he had a better game than Rondo, I just think he had his best game yesterday...

It was a beat down so lots of guys play well and I am not trying to take anything away from Rondo, who is having a coming out party and a half, but the Bulls are kind of giving it to him and he is just taking it.

It is a tough call because Rondo really was great but I am going with Pierce over Rondo and a lot of it has to do with the talk before the game about "is he toast," "is he hurt," "he is happy in a supporting role," and then he just lays a first round knock out on them walks back to his corner. You can't end a playoff game in the first quarter but Paul Pierce went 6/6 from the field and everyone else did their part and the Boston Celtics did just that. 24 points in 27 mins and if the Bulls had shown any fight all he would have gone for 35-40.

Return to Boston Celtics
