Rondiculous post season perfomance watch

Post#1 » by Bad-Thoma » Mon Apr 27, 2009 3:02 pm

Rondo in the postseason through 4 games-

23.2ppg, 10.8rpg, 10 apg, 3.5spg, 50% on field goals, 40% (2/5) 3pt, 76% ft, and 40 assists to 7 turnovers

All this on a gimpy ankle. Thus I propose a new nickname... Rondiculous, because he's just plain ridiculous. Hopefully we'll be able to remove the tag under-rated from next to his name after this round and he'll start to get some of the credit he deserves and land in the all-star game as he should have this season. Having Rondo here bodes well for the future of the organization.

Haha, I am ashamed to admit that I actually felt Rondo deserved a nickname as well.

I was thinking Rondo the Magnificent.

Of course in my thoughts this happened after Rondo shouted baby to go away, talked to D-rose the way Pierce did to Stephen Jackson back when we faced IND in 2001, and then proceeded to hit a game winning 3 at the buzzer in game 5. And the announcer said "Ladies and Gentleman, Rondo the Magnificent!"

But of course till this thread, I thought it so rondiculous that I actually had this fantasy while trying to study for finals I never actually considered telling anyone, lol.

Rondo is the MVP this season for C's. What A.I used to be for 76ers...Rondo is now for us.

By far my favorite player on the C's. This post season has been unbelievable to watch. I've been gushing about him all week. Kid is going to get paid this summer.
