Will Hinrich be suspended?

Hinrich started a fight with Rondo that almost turned into a major brawl. Rondo admirably used minimal force to defend himself while backing away.
Will Hinrich be suspended for the next game, or will the league office go easy on him?

Throwing an elbow is not minimal force...

They already said the league is reviewing Hinrich's actions and a suspension is "highly possible".

Wow seriously? You don't get suspended for a push.

i can see david stern not doing anything about the matter only because he protects the big named teams... but rondo deserves a suspension and kirk a fine, but is he gets suspended too i wouldnt be suprised.

This thread is beyond hilarious. I mean he threw Kirk like a football into the stands, and you say Kirk started the fight?????
But it wouldnt surprise me if Stern tries to bail out the celtics once more, so if Kirk goes down then so be it, at least Rondo will go down with him and he exposed Rondo for the dirty thug he is. Realize that in 48 hours Rondo has gone from being the sweetheart of the NBA to the biggest goat of the playoffs. He's a little punk and I thank Kirk for finally putting that idiot in his place.

Lmao, Hinrich gets swung into the scorers table by Rondo and he should get suspend for a push. Rondo even tried to slip in an elbow when Hinrich ran up to him.

Um..yeah...nice try. Rondo throws Hinrich into the scorer's table, then tries to throw at elbow at his face and you seriously think anyone is gonna believe your post?
Ha. Rondo is the only one who should be suspended...but even he probably won't be.

You know if Rondo gets suspended, Hinrich better get suspended.
Celtic haters should put their hate away and realize that Hinrich did push into Rondo's face with a closed fist. That deserves a suspension too.
If Rondo gets suspended, you better believe Hinrich will too.
Honestly can't believe how many people are ignoring what Hinrich did too.

c'mon dawg you can be serious! You're a veteran posting this type $hit? I think the title to this thread is wrong. Should read: Will Rondo finally get suspended? look man i'm not a bulls fan nor a celt's fan, but it was obvious that Rondo threw Hinrich to the score tables (totally wrong) and Hinrich let him know about it by getting in his face (nothing wrong). If anyone here thinks otherwise, you're just a close-minded celt's fan, that's all. Rondo is not playing smart bball with his hard foul on Miller and now throwing someone to the score tables. I don't think Rondo will get suspended, but based his previous close call, I wouldn't be surprised if Rondo is out for game 7. I hope he's not but now there's really a possibility.

He shouldn't be. He got thrown so he went at Rondo. That's fine.

If Hinrich is suspended, Rondo will most certainly be joining him on the bench. Nothing will happen due to the magnitude of game, purely a business decision.

Dan Wetzel agrees with me that it's a possibility:

Actually, I agree. And given that, I don't want to see either of them suspended.
But I AM tired of Bulls starting fights with Celtics (Brad Miller, Kirk Hinrich) and then seeing fans whine as if the Bulls are the big victims here.

It's a possibility, but a fine is much more likely. Saying Hinrich started this is pretty funny
