Down to the wire a dozen times

There have been 7 overtime periods in the series so far. So 7 times, a fourth quarter or earlier overtime period has ended in an exact tie.
When the 6 games were finally decided, in 5 of the cases the final point differential was 3 or less. If memory serves, in every one of those 5 cases the game was tied with well less than a minute remaining, often less than 10 seconds.
That's several postseason's worth of nail-biters combined into a single incredible series. There has never been a series like this before, in all the history of the NBA. We may never see its like again.

what confuses me is we have won one of those 7 OT's. A team with Pierce and Ray needs to find a better way to close out these games/ot's they have been given ample opportunities as well.

The Celtics are 2-3-7 in the "decisive" periods. The Bulls are 3-2-7. Not a lot of difference ...

I believe we have 2 of the top 5 clutches players in the league that should be enough to close out these decisive periods hopefully they are enough for game 7.

Right now it looks like the other 3 clutch players are on the Bulls.
