Perk, Pierce, Ray, and Eddie all have claims. All four played effective defense as judged by the stat sheet.

But I'll go with Eddie, because what made the difference in this game is that the bench finally got it done.

I know house hit a lot of shots today and that was huge, but the most impressive player in my opinion was Ray Allen. his defense was very agressive and on offense he just seemed to make the most crucial (IMO) plays, whether that was hitting a floater, tough layups, or drawing fouls. And his ability to draw ticky tacks on guys like hinrich coming off screens really seemed to ice the game late.

go with Perk and Eddie, but Perk at first. I just have to say in this game, Perk didn't foul out which definetly means a lot to whole Team, and that is a win at the end.

Hideous job offensively by my team tonight. Congrats to you guys, the more talented team definitely won.

I'm kind of hoping the jolt from this will push us in a more defensive minded direction, as the Dantoni formula doesnt win it all ever. You need D, just like you guys had last yr.

I voted for Scal we don't win this game without Big Red, same could be said for Moore and House, but Eddie had a lot of bad to go with his good dude is just an absolute fraud on defense, Scal came in with Perk and Baby and foul trouble and made some 3's and made plays defensively and kept us breathing. But it was just a night for the "Other 3."

He hit some nice shots when we were struggling (had a great stretch at the end of the 1st and start of the 2nd), but other than that really struggled, especially defensively (and he had some silly fouls).

I want to vote for House, but that silly T could have been a momentum killer, we were lucky.

I guess I'll go with Perkins. Defensively, we always just look so much better when he's on the floor.

Thanks for the great series guys, that was fun and it was surely made exciting by both teams, good luck VS Orlando.

PS: i voted for Eddie House in your poll. Like John Salmons and Brad Miller in game six for us, House really stepped it up tonight and contributed.

It was kind of funny I was screaming at the TV for Doc to get him out just before the 3, he was getting killed defensively and couldn't get free on offense, I wanted Baby back in the game. Then he drops the bomb and I am like well look at that and then he taunts their bench like his 17.

This isn't the time but I am pretty much done with Eddie, hope he has a great post season so he opts out.

This a team effort victory cigar, mostly the bench

Mikki gave what we needed, finally, in short minutes
Scal had some early mishaps but made up for it with some big 3's
Eddie gave what we have come to expect of him; clutch bombing and a bonus with inspired D and some steals
Marbury helped play solid D, especially late in th 2nd to solidify our lead

Perk was big as usual, a number of bailout shots plus his typical hard D and boards
Paul was a little scatterbrained with the ball but stepped up other wise
Ray did his job
Rondo did not but provided just enough on both ends to keep it honest
Baby not the best game but got buckets charges and stops when we needed them

Team cigar for this one, there's no other way

Even though I'd gutted as a Bulls fan, congrats to you guys

There was some negative fans on both sides of the fence and some things we definately dont agree on but you guys won in a tough situation with KG out & the Powe getting out as welll. We had our injuries too but I think if both sides had everyone (You guys KG & Powe, Chicago with Deng, Healthy Ben & Healthy J-Fish) you guys would've still beat us probably in less games.

Great series, best of luck with the Magic. It still can be done IMO you still have a great team & now that your the underdogs I might even hope for you guys to knock Dwight & Lebron off the pedastel.

I was rooting for you guys against Lakers last year you guys had incredible team work & some of the best team defense I'd seen since the 90's when you guys shut Kobe down.

Again props, great series, good luck & who knows maybe this battle will happen again next year (Rondo & Rose look to be the PG's of the east for many years to come!)

30 pts from the Celts bench, amazing! EHouse gets 1/2 of that cigar.

The House was on fire last night. Had to go with him for the victory cigar.

I voted for House.

I'm so glad the Celtics aren't going fishing yet! 8-)
