Post#1 » by return2glory » Mon May 4, 2009 9:47 pm

Reggie Miller, who is close to KG, predicted that KG will play against Orlando. I read this in the LA Times newpaper today. Let's keep our fingers crossed. Go Celitcs.

Im not sure where Reggie is getting his info from, as he said a week or 2 ago he expected KG to be back sometime in the playoffs aswell...

if this was about any other player i dont know that i would pay much attention to Reggie now, trying to be mr tv, but it should be well known that he and kg are pretty close

would he really come out and say hes coming back if he knew his friend wasnt going to? im not sure.. but i know i wouldnt

im praying that reggie isnt just messing with all Celtics fans by saying these things.

cause quite frankly he is the only hope i have when it comes to the chance of a KG return lol.

So im just gunna have to believe that they are homies and roll with it.

We Need KG if we wanna have a chance this round, Perk will pick up too many quickies on Howard especially in Orlando, if anythign we need KG just cause were so damn down on bodies for big men.

If he could only give us 15 minutes per game...I would be the happiest boy alive..

If Miller is lying..than he should go to hell..literally...

I'll explain this way. The second guy through the tunnel under the stands leading to the Celtics locker room after Game 7 on Saturday night was a 6-11 bald man in a snappy suit. He followed Tony Allen, who was skipping through the tunnel, celebrating the Celtics' survival. Kevin Garnett? Smooth. He walked at an even pace, head down, gaze fixed on the floor, right fist pumping slowly. Once, twice, three times, and then he disappeared down around the corner. Walking where, ultimately? Nobody knows, but it'll be fun wondering.

Walking without a limp? good sign at least

Then I hit him with Jim Carrey's line from Dumb & Dumber. "So you're saying there's a chance?"

"Yeah," Rivers said. "Like a 0.5 percent chance like I said before. But you know, it is what it is. Our guys are past that."

And there's still a chance of a certain emotional leader trading his suit for shorts and a jersey before it's over, however close to Rivers' 0.5 percent that it might be. But you know what? You know what the chances are of having four overtime games in an NBA playoff series? According to a statistician quoted in the New York Times on Saturday, it's 1 in 10,000 -- or 0.0001 percent.

al just speculation of course but its fun to dream

now on to business tonight, we can take care of orlando without KG, give the big guy as much time as possible to heal

I was thinking if the Magic win game 2 he is coming back. Thing is he has been out so long, he might be a detriment for one game and if he is then it would be 3-0.
My 2 cents is worth 5 cents.

Well Doc Rivers DID SAY the ONLY reason why he is making the percentage on his come back so low is that 'the media will leave the KG issue alone'.

So who knows what the REAL likelihood of him returning is, but it's DEFINITELY NOT 0.5%.

I don't expect him to return but I wouldn't be surprised if he does return either. The only thing I am sure of is, is that it's NOT a 0.5% chance.

At this point I'm used not having KG on the team. Hell, even if they wanted to trade him, it wouldn't bother me. KG is a punk for not saying anything to his fans. People that adore him and wish him the best. No one f*cking word from his mouth. Whatever.

I am but this is becoming like some theory or something like is Tupac dead or alive. You decide for yourself. As someone who loves KG and what he brings to the team, why didn't he say ANYTHING to nobody or at least back up Danny's or Doc remarks. Unprofessional if you ask me.

I don't think KG is being unprofessional. More likely the team asked him to not comment so as not to be a distraction at the actual task at hand-- winning games w/o KG. Besides, anything he says will be misconstrued and just open more questions. What if he says he's ready to go and then can't? What if he says he can't go and then plays? Either way, someone will find fault. Right now the teamis still alive and trying to roll with the punches. I'm confident that if KG is healthy enough to get on the court and make a difference, he's the one who will be the biggest advocate of such a move.

Hey guys, a magic fan here. But i have a real question? Do you really want KG to play?
He has not played in some while, so His wind would be gone, His shot would be off, he still would not be in game shape and your team has done well without him. If I am not mistaken, the last season game we played you, when KG came back to play. We were up like 15 points with Him in the game. I know having Him suited up would be motivational for the team. But considering the circumstances, would He really make your team better...at least for right now? And are the playoffs the place you want Him to work out the bugs? Just asking...I would feel that way if it was someone on the Magic.
"Welcome to the MAGIC's KINGDOM !"
