Tonight the remarkably odd stats were in the +/- category:

Howard -2
Gortat +7
Scalabrine +22

To me the shock is that Ray Allen was at -15. When did Jonathan Clay learn how to be a lock-down defender?

The Howard stat is pretty obvious considering he played during a stretch of time when he was ignored on offense so the Magic could chuck up shots. The Celtics took advantage of this to come alive, and played good offense and even better defense. Also, Kendrick Perkins played a very good defensive game against Dwight.

It's not that odd. The C's made a huge run so guys in the game benefit from that. Sure you could say those guys "helped" that run but alot of it was just the Magic laying back..
