way OT- need help getting out of a test

Ok so I have to take a test this summer for a license. Thr problem is that I just found out about it and I already bought tickets to the Bonnaroo music festival. Furthermore, a friend is flying in from Amsterdam to go with me. So I am in a bind. I'd be down 300 bucks and let down a friend if I don't go and I would not get a job I need if I don't take the test.

So I looked into how to take the test on a different day. There are only 2 ways: "Alternate test day for religious or military reasons" I'm not going to be able to fake being able to being military but I could fake religion. The test is on a saturday so Im thinking I need to pretend to be Jewish. What I need is a letter from a religious clergymen saying I can not take the test on the gven date. Do you think this is something I can fake? Should I just make up a church or temple name or use a real one? How do I go about faking religious letterhead?

I had also thought to have a friend "become" a minister on one of those online churches ala how Joey married Ross and Rachael on Friends.

If anyone has any ideas on what I should do I would be glad to hear them. Funny responses are welcome too but please I am in a bind so if you have any ideas don't hold back.

Also, I called up the testing service and asked if I could take the test on a different day for personal reasons and they said no and that the tests given on a different day they had to get someone to come in special and that they were oe one one. So I'd be the only one in the room. Should I get a yamaca? Or what should I say if they ask me?

This thread is classic. A few of my friends do all the artwork for Bonnaroo. From what I hear it is definitely worth the drive. Just make sure not to get pulled over in that County in Tennessee with illicit drugs because you WILL go to jail. That happened to another friend of mine.

As far as the excuse, I would definitley go with being Jewish. They are the only ones I can think of that have a sabbath on Saturday. I'm sure you could make a fake leaderhead from information from some temple in the yellow pages. I recommend watching the movie "Catch me if you can" for tips on how to forge documents. You'll probably need a good pair of tweezers and a high power magnifying glass. You could always write a temple with a request for information then you could get a sample of their leaderhead in return. I would definitely go with the yamulke for authenticity. I love how you are going with the more elaborate plan as opposed to the mundane. Good luck in your quest.

My honest advice would be, first how important is the job? If it's vital to your survival, then sorry Bonnaroo, but the test comes first. Otherwise bag the test. But don't lie to get out of it...

I think I can do it without lying. The letter will be from a religious clergy person because my friend is one, albiet online. I won't say that it is a holy day but say something like due to his spiritual principals h can not make the test on Sat. That is true because if I missed Bonnaroo I would be hurting a friend.
