Why? Because I feel that those mad cocky Lakers fans should get what's coming to them.

I also feel like the Houston Rockets want this more than ever. They've brought a lot of hustle and energy into this series, and it can't go to waste. They deserve this series win against the Lakers. I really hope they do, and I know they have the ability to do so.

I don't know how they're doing this today - too bad that they didn't pull out 2 more wins, then have Yao break his foot, then have one more win on heart...

But this makes me think LA is going to get smoked by the Cavaliers in the finals, if Denver doesn't knock them off first - my gosh, I've never taken Denver seriously and it's still hard to...

Carmelo vs LeBron? The league would probably like that as a consolation for LeBron vs Kobe.

They won't beat the Lakers without Yao. I don't know how the hell they are pulling this crap off today..pretty amazing..but they will lose this series. Yet the Lakers will get P'OWNED by the Nuggets...the Nuggets are physical as hell..LA can't handle that...Andersen and Nene will bust the hell out of the Lakers bigs..I really, really, really hope the Nuggets win it all. Having Carmelo overshadow LeBron in the finals would be AWESOME...I like Carmelo alot..ever since he came out of that packed draft I've liked him...he is crazy underrated just like Pierce is...IMO that is..

meh, i think what seperates Lebron and Wade most from Melo and Bosh isn't just the skill, but the mindset they have. Melo and Bosh have "Number 2" mindesets while Lebron and Wade are born leaders/killers

Houston came out hot. LA will take the next two, but could have lots of trouble with Denver, especially if Odom's not 100%..

I agree. But I still think he is underrated. Not by any means am I trying to say he is better than Wade or LeBron..no way not even close. But I like him. Dude can put up mean numbers, specially offensive. He has decent D, and is a superstar, yet alot of people sleep on him. He isn't the greatest team player ever, and yes he should have that leader mentality those 2 other guys have..but he doesn't, yet I think he has matured a whole lot ever since that brawl incident, and he is having a good season. If the Celtics get knocked out, one player I would love to see raising a trophy would be Carmelo.

I'd like to see the Rockets win as well. I like a lot of their young players: Landry, Lowry, Brooks, Wafer.

Why would the Lakers have trouble with Denver's big's when they have the holy messiah Bynum with them this year??? Please Laker fans don't use the excuse of Bynum not being 100% if The Yao-less Rockets or Nuggets beat you, because no one is a 100% at this point and he is obviously healthy enough to play!

I want the Rockets to go to the finals and see a Artest/LeBron matchup! Thats if the C's don't make it obviously. Artest is the only one who can at least matchup with the NBA's golden child if the ref's are allowed to allow that to happen!

One of my friends said he hardly even watches the Lakers until the conference finals. Like its obvious they will be there. ridiculous

Pre Injuries, I just look at this team, and was so surprised at all the talent. T-Mac, Yao, Artest, Battier, Scola, Brooks, Landry, Mutombo, Wafer.

I feel bad, all those injuries really hurt. I don't think they can beat the lakers. But it sure is nice seeing them give LA a hard time.

It's nice they are giving them a hard time but they matchup better then Cleveland and because I am sick of the Lebron treatment I wouldn't mind seeing Lebron lose. Its a no win situation if the finals is Cleveland vs. LA though..

C's vs. Rockets would be far more interesting.

If its lakers Cavs Im not watching but will be rooting for the Cavs to win just so the Lakers will stay at 14 titles and Phil will be tied with Red. If its Lakers Cavs it will SUCK!

I'm actually pretty confident in Houston winning this series.

Very hard to beat LA at home in a game 7 and I expect them to win easily, but damn ... I would LOVE to see them go down. LOVE IT! It negates the whole KG gone for playoffs for me. Well, almost. Love it to happen! Go Rockets!
