What did I say?!

It's sooo obvious. We use Pierce "within the system" and he takes shots when they're there. He plays "not aggressive", and he's tired, legs, minutes, blah blah ....

Doc realises we need to get Pierce to be aggressive so we go to him more and it WORKS [what a shock  ].

I HOPE to GOD we keep using Pierce as a #1 option. I'm worried because now Doc is talking about trying to get Ray Allen involved - I love how it's always the team's fault if Ray plays bad.

Anyway, this suggests that we're going to go back to using Pierce "within the system" ... which I COMPLETELY disagree with.

We need to give Pierce the ball and let him dictate our offense, period!

I made my frustrated point in this thread before it got locked ... but surprise surprise I was right all along.

It was soo obvious Pierce was going to be aggressive and play well. Why? Because we finally used him as a #1 option.

I don't think you were right at all. We tried exactly that the last 5 mins of the game and our offense was horrid. only 2 clutch shots by BB saved our azz.

we need pierce to be aggressive, yes, but the pierce iso & create offense has never worked well. the problem is when pierce gets hot the team starts to stand around. sometimes its still the best option, but overall we need to be a ball movement team to be successful.

By aggressive, I don't mean iso plays for Pierce - only if he has it going like he did in the 3rd.

I'm talking about looking for Pierce first and let him score or create instead of us giving him chances when opportunities come up.
