I thought they said he needed surgery?
So how can his rehab be going well?

This has to be the most depressing situation all year- man ...

Man---if he doesn't suit up in THESE playoffs sometime soon----they BETTER NOT chance his injury to REHAB----they BETTER get the surgery----it WILL cost us the 2009-2010 Season AS WELL...!!!!

The complete and total botching of the KG injury situation by the Celtics organization continues...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

This reminds me a bit of how the Knicks handled their injury situations in the Isiah era and to a lesser extent the way they handled the Marbury situation.

There comes a time when you have to act like a man and tell the truth. There's nothing wrong with real talk. Bitchy side-stepping around the heart of the matter though... Come on, you're better than that.

Check out the thread about the Bill Simmons podcast interview - there's a link to his interview with a medical expert that's very interesting. Says there's no sure-fire solution to KG's particular injury. Apparently it's an extremely rare one and no one really knows the best way to handle it.

The surgery that has been talked about is to remove bone spurs not to repair the actual injury that has him sidelined.

Yeah, if it's going so well, shouldn't he be ready to play soon?

Some guy on Bill Simmons podcast was saying his injury is REALLY RARE and they don't know exactly what to do. Yikes. It could heal on it's own or it might need surgery.
