The Celtics will be back better than ever next season. In a way this is the best thing that could have happened. The Celtics were not getting by Cleveland and next season they will be hungrier for a championship. Can't wait for next season. :D

To me, last night..the hardest part of the game to swallow was when Paul and Ray came out and Doc went up to both of them with hugs while the crowd gave them a standing o. I won't even lie I kind of got teary eyed there..lol..that's when it hit..like..'this is over..we lost'...and it sucks man..These guys wanted this bad...they never quit..even when there were like 4 minutes left while down 18 they still were playing hard...next year will be bomb..I hope to see the starting 5 all back, along with Big Baby, Marbury and specially House..House is the one bench player that MUST stay..I love that man..lol..We giving them hell next year..please believe it..

P.S...these guys started out 27-2...if the injury 'disease' didn't hit us all through the year, we probably crack last years record easily and win a championship again...too bad..:(

We will see a better game from Rondo/Perk/Baby next season and the same game from Paul/Ray/KG and a better bench. The C's will be right back in the hunt.

You know?

I wonder what Paul was thinking then?

All those light hearted after game press conferances with KG by his side..

I wonder if Paul might have been a bit disapointed in KG's on court absence when it all counted?

Some might blame him for not being able to lead them to another miracle win?

But I think we all know this team (minus KG) did all that was humanly possible to repeat!

Pierce showed his Celtic pride... and further insured his spot as one of those all-time Celtic greats....

IMO with his leadership effort, he earned another measure of respect!

Still hard not to like Paul, even when he plays like garbage.

Hey you guys should be proud of your team.
A lot of lessons were learned with these playoffs, you saw the rise of a couple of young player like Rondo and Baby to an allstar level performance. You guys fought hard even though you guys were missing K.G.
I would be proud of my team for their effort and heart. Better luck next year. Hopefully we can meet again in the finals so we can woop your asses, but keep your head up fellas and I enjoyed posting with you guys.

Garbage was Ray Allen in games 1-6..Rondo yesterday and in game 6..Big Baby in game 6-7..Marbury in 70% of his games...Moore in 98% of his games..Paul yesterday was just 'regular'. I don't think Paul and GARBAGE should ever be in the same sentence..unless it's something like 'Pierce made LeBron and Kobe look like garbage in the 2009 playoffs'..
He did what he could do. He put this team on his back in the second round, not getting ANY help from Ray Allen in the first 6 games of the series(much like Ray did in the first round vs Chicago while only getting 2 out of 7 good games from Paul). And yesterday, he was the only one scoring in the 4th quarter and driving to the basket even when we were down by like 345... And my love(no homo) and respect for him did nothing but increase after this game. The captain **** RULES! :D

Paul is da man and I hate to see him like that las night. It tore me up. He did all he could for this team starting back in FEB when the big guy went down. That is 4 full months of him pulling the load.

IMO the biggest goal for next season should be a SF to back Pierce up...one that can play defense.

Before these playoffs, I thought the Celtics would be mentally weak and crumble without Garnett. They showed a lot of heart, and proved the whole is a lot bigger than the sum of the parts. I'm not a true Boston fan, but I like a lot of the guys, but I would be extremely proud if my team(the Hornets) played with the heart you guys showed.
