Now that the C's are done for the year, who do you want to win it?

I personally have beef with all of the teams remaining, but I'd take either of the East teams over either of the West.

Also, if you pick the Lakers, and you mean it, why are you on the Celtics board? I mean...really?

Anyone but the Lakers.......don't want them to get closer to our Title total.

ps.....and Red's total......

I went with the Nuggets. I don't even know if I can watch any more basketball, though.

I won't beyond a casual interest....as I said in another post, I watch the C's *IN SPITE OF* the fact they're in the NBA...the most corrupt pro-sports league (not named WWE) in the country...

I would like the Nuggets because I Like EVERY player on that squad. My second pick would be the Cavs...because of LeBron..dude is a alien freak..and deserves a ring more than anybody else..Orlando and LA can just go to hell. I don't like ANYBODY on either squad..maybe only Lewis on the Magic..the rest I dislike greatly.

Also...a Cavs x Nuggets finals to me would be amazing. Seeing Nene and VArejao, two Brazilians in the finals would do WONDERS for the sport of basketball in Brazil. It's really growing in the past years, but having the brazilians in the finals would just increase NBA audience there to a major extent. And it would guarantee a Brazilian ring..first in history which would be AWESOME.

Lebrons. I don't know how you can not be a fan of basketball and not appreciate what Lebron's doing... The man is incredible.

It really dosen't matter to me....but I love seeing the underdogs triumph!

OR... at least a team who hasn't won it all before...

That overblown Kobe/Labron hype makes me want to root for the Majic and the Nuggets just because!

Good question, but tough for me to answer outright. See, I only like the Celtics. Hmmm... I dislike LeBron, I dislike Dwight Howard, I dislike Kobe and I dislike Kenyon Martin and Billups. Man, tough call...

I reckon I'll choose Denver for sake of answering your question. Honestly, I can careless (I'm not a fan of any of these teams' stars or players). However, I'm absolutely not rooting for the Cavaliers or the Lakers. And I think the Nuggets have a better chance against Los Angeles than Orlando against Cleveland. Hence, why I'm choosing Denver here.

Ultimately, national fans and the NBA want to have LeBron versus Kobe and probably will get that. I think a LeBron versus Carmelo is a good alternative.

regardless what the nba/espn hype machine might try to push down our throats I would MUCH rather see a Nuggets/Cavs finals then Laker/Cavs. Remember all that hoopla comparing Lebron and Mello to Bird/Magic?

1. Magic - because if that team can win the title, the C's are closer than I thought they were.
2. Nuggets - I can't stand K-Mart, and I am not a fan of Melo, but I have no gripes with Billups, and Nene. I wouldn't be thrilled, but I wouldn't be devastated.
3. Cavs - I fear if they win it, then it may be a while before anyone knocks them off. That kind of confidence is scary, and Lebron is amazing. Sure he is a bit arrogant, but imagine growing up like he did, a hero-man-child, imagine how you'd be.




4. Lakers - I hate them, I hate Kobe.

I'm 'rooting' for the Nugz. I'd like to see Carmelo finally ascend, and Billups get back to the finals. they have a legit shot at beating the Fakers.

I'm not a fan of any team left but I would like to see Orlando win it all. At least as a Celtic fan I can say we lose to the team that won the championship. So I hope Orlando pulls it off. I'm getting sick of all the Kobe vs. Lebron talk so I want a Orlando vs. Denver match-up with Orlando coming out with the Championship.

Magic - of the remaining superstars I like Howard personality the most.
Nuggets - another likeable underdog, go go Billups!


Cavs - I dont really enjoy their play, although they have some likeable guys.


Lakers - when they hot, I like them better than Cavs, but for some reason I dont find their team too attractive

As long as it's not the Lakers I won't feel as if I've been kicked in the balls again. I really enjoy *some* of the Laker's fans that come over here to post, but I really really hate the Lakers. I like Lebron, I like Dwight Howard a ton and think someday he'll be an MVP, and Denver I just want to see because that means it's not the Lakers. I think it's Lebron's to lose this season though, Cleveland is the best team left and Lebron is the the best player in the NBA on the best team in the NBA.

Man I would have loved a shot against the Cavs, last night has me completely depressed.

Cavaliers are my 2nd favorite team, I'm from Cleveland. They're going to stomp everyone. I'll watch the finals and enjoy it. Too busy to watch conference finals.

in the interest of full disclosure, I selected the Cavs. they fought for it all year, had fun playing the games and even though they are arrogant and cocky and whatever, they are a TEAM and they play like it.

It would pain me to see Varajao and Szerbiack get rings, but whatever.

I'd be fine with the Magic, too, as there team doesn't really have anyone I dislike. Howard is a good kid, Lewis and Turk seem like ok guys, and everyone else is so invisible that I coudl care less.

Nuggets, I hate George Karl and I expect him to choke. The team seems too fragile and immature to win it all, but who knows. Billipus is the only player on that team that seems to have a solid head on his shoulders, but I'd still want them to beat the Lakers.

Lakers...well. You know. Loathesome. Truly loathesome.
