Then Ray could get bought out and return to the C's. (This might be just wishful thinking though because he might not want to come off the bench)

Allen starts over Thorton in that lineup. I don't like the trade anyways because Kaman and Baron have insane contracts and are injury prone. Plus I highly doubt the Clipps would buy out Ray after the trade.

No thanks. Davis might have a couple of decent seasons left in him but he is past his prime and Rondo is 23. If we give up Ray and Rondo in a trade we better be getting a superstar and a point guard back. Or a superstar point guard (hello Chris Paul or Deron Williams).

Davis is just a huge liability with his injuries...i dont think he will ever play even 3/4 of a season. He is worst than Tmac....

no thanks to BDavis. I'd rather go for wallace and felton from charlotte.

What bench? We didn't have one to begin with. We are getting 3 starting quality players so wouldn't that help the bench?

If Baron always stayed healthy Id say yes, unfortunatly he doesnt so I say no

as with most offseason trade ideas that make no sense at all, i threw up in my mouth when i first read it.

don't think that ray allen could be bought out. really not sure, especially at the very beginning of the regukar season

look at the starting lineup (ok, they are weak at sf position, but have cheab - camby s&t - to improve):

Rondo (eric gordon)
Ray (eric gordon)
ricky davis (m.collins)
Blake Griffin (zach randolph)
Baby (marcus camby if resigned)

I am confused. Are we tanking for the no. 1 pick next year and killing our cap at the same time? I thought we were close to a championship without a Kevin Garnett injury.
