IMO Josh Smith is right up there with the most overrated players just behind McGrady, Carter, & Bibby. I say NO.

WOW I think he is a rising star in the league, also his defense is amazing. I would love a lineup of

Perk
KG
Smith
PP
Rondo

Did you see Cleveland's defense on Josh Smith in this years playoffs? The defensive scheme was leave him open and let him shoot. Atlanta is praying someone takes that contract.

Just because someone has 4-5 great highlights a year doesn't make him a great player. If that was the case Gerald Green would be in the Hall of Fame.

The kid is the same age as Perk he is great for his age I have to disagree with you on this one. They might have played him well but he will improve wait and see he is gonna be awsome.

Just because he can dunk and block some shots it doesn`t mean he is good. He can`t shoot, doesn`t play hard, low BBIQ, overpaid...don`t want to see him in green...

Just because he is young is not a guarantee that he will get better. He has been about the same player for the last three seasons, and this most recent season, he took a turn for the worse. He is very talented no doubt. He blocks shots, can defend multiple positions and can score because of his athleticism. But his jumpshot has not improved in five seasons, he drifts in and out of games, and he definitely is a bit of a head case.

I think what you see is about what you get with Josh Smith. I wouldn't take a flier on the guy unless it was at a cheap price.

Never a chance of happening, but it would make Rondo happy if they did. Smith is his boy if I remember correctly.

I thought you had Childress. I don't think Atlanta is trading Smith anytime soon.

Post this on the Atlanta board and I think they laugh at you. Smith and Horford are the franchise.

No thanks. He's a knucklehead. And the thought of him playing the SF spot on this team is nauseating.

Im a huge Smith fan, and i think with our coaches and Garnett he could take another leap as a player

having only Mo and Eddie at the 2 guard, and no real MLE options though would have to put some doubt in my mind

I preffer the Rondo/Ray for JJ/Smith trade in the other thread, picking up miller or bibby with the MLE

i dont think Ainge will have much interest in Smith though
