No Changes to the Starting 5 (Pole)

As in every off-season, the board is abuzz with trade scenarios, predictions and rumors. I find it hard to believe that any of the starting 5 will be traded. Not Ray, not Rondo and not Perk. This is a championship nucleus that should not be messed with right now. Next off-season? Who knows but right now, with KG and Powe healthy we would be lifting up banner 18 despite our shaky bench.

The Rondo resigning questions and money speculations can wait til later. No need to jump the gun now.
The Perk-KG combo is the best defensive front line in the league. No way it's broken up.
Ray can still play his ass off. Yes, he's lost a step but It was much harder for him in the playoffs without KG in the lineup - we should evaluate him over the course of the entire season and he was damn good.

I say no trades. The changes IMO, will be made to the bench only.

Ditto..we need to add to this team..not take away from it..if a deal for a Wade or Stoudemire is on the table, than you got to do it..BUT..trading a major piece of our team for friggin Rubio is stupid IMO.

I say no trades.[2]

I think the idea of trades is fun as a way to make the offseason pass. But in the end, I don't see any of the starters being traded away. We were one healthy KG away from being in the Finals. We have some holes (PG, SF, C) but all we need are backups. Our starting 5 are a really solid unit and they have more value to us than to other teams. Unless some team decides to give us a gift trade I say no trade.

(However, I'll keep thinking of trade scenarios just because it's fun)

Given the choice, I'd lace em up with the starting 5 we got. Even if we could pull off an Amare or other trade, I am not sure what that do to our teams chemistry and ability to dominate like we did since assembling the current starters.

If KG was healthy, we would have embarassed the Lakers again in the finals.

The focus should be on the bench this offseason.

If anyone has to go, Perk has to stay. He's our anti-Howard
