OT: Is Devin Harris available for the second pick?

Rondo? No, Harris... I don't understand any of this. You would be willing to take the gamble on an unproven player by sacrificing a proven player in the league.

Rondo and Harris > Rubio, Jennings, Curry, Holiday and Flynn

A deep draft at point guard, but high on uncertainties.

Memphis isn't a playoff team, so they should draft a young point guard if you aren't content with Conley. Jr. or trade down and use the second pick to acquire a solid veteran and a lower first round pick. You can still select a point guard.

New Jersey I'd read plans on moving Carter to small forward and I assume Harris to the off guard. Then they could be looking for another point guard too, but don't trade away Harris.

Jersey would probably get more than just the #2, possibly Gay.

I got to believe anyone wanting to trade up this high for a platyer is either after Thabeet or James Harden.

Ricky Rubio is not going to go No. 2.

But, if Carter moves to the front court, they don't need Gay. They could ask for Mayo instead but you're replacing Harris with another scoring guard. Shrug. They shouldn't trade Harris, he was a steal. And his salary's likable.

This pre draft talks are nonsense...people make up stupid trades and than one day whole nba talks about it till the next day when there is a new rumor.

Yes it is interesting but I hope draft comes a s quickly as possible that this will be over!

Well, duh. I never said he was... What I'd said was that they could... But, to acquire another scoring guard to replace a scoring guard is redundant.

I would think that NJ would be trying to acquire the 2 to wheel to PHX for Amare, not simply looking to liquidate Harris.

Trade rumors abound. We tried to ask team pres Rod Thorn but he declined to discuss anything specific in any way. He did, however, say a trade of the pick if a definite possibility and indicated trading it or keeping it is about even. "Either scenario is possible," he said claiming the odds were "about the same" for keeping or dealing. Multiple sources though squashed a Devin Harris to Memphis for the No. 2 pick rumor. "No way," said one source. "Absolutely nothing to that," said another. "Just not true," said a third. New York Post
