I've seen much worse trade ideas. Yao's agent knows he would make much more money in a bigger market. Rather then Houston being left with nothing they may have to accept a similar offer.

Your trade ideas are whack dude. I do not believe I have ever read a trade idea you have come up with that the other team even consider.

Its true, not to be a jerk, BUT you say you've seen worse trades, but you are still evaluating any trade fromy our warped perspective that views all this crap you post as fair.

Believe me a nuetral fan (which I do not claim to be) would laugh at this offer. Even being a celtic fan, its easy to see that like most of your proposals, this does everything for the celtics and nothing for the other team, which in this case is the rockets.

Anyone can get Yao Ming. Especially if you're in a drunken stupor, late at night, after the bars have closed in Shanghai.

It's not easy to get rid of however.

has Yao ever had a season in the NBA where he wasnt injured?

I just have never been a fan of his....He has some skills... but not anything that would fit what they try to do in Boston....

They'd never trade Yao even if he sucked....the guy brings in too much $$ to get 'rid of. Though I will say, from a purely basketball perspective I'd move Yao for that package if I were Houston. He's coming off a relatively healthy season, which might fool a couple teams into thinking those last 3 or 4 years of him missing 45 games or so a season were just flukes.

Yao is a rich man's Ilgauskas.

Still, if they wanted to trade Yao and S&T Artest for Perk/Ray..

Yao/Barry for Perk/Ray would be interesting, actually, IMO. If Yao were to stay healthy it would work out as a good deal IMO, not only would it potentially help us win more games (we could pick up an extra wing or two in FA) but would be great from a business standpoint to the point where our owners would be able to regularly add more to our payroll. But, "healthy" is the key word.

For discussion purposes, I actually see little wrong with Cfan's proposal before he adds Rondo/Battier to the mix...
