The T-Wolves have 6 picks in this years draft. They have 5,6,18, 28, 45, and 47. Portland has 22, 33, 38, and 55.

They don't obviously have room for 6 new players on their team. If Ainge sees a player that is slipping, I hope he gets into the 1st round or the 2nd round.

The draft time is an exciting time. I hope we get in on the action before the 58th pick.

Amen because if I watch the whole god damn draft (which I will) something better happen, DANNY!!

The Wolves don't need all those picks! Where is Kevin McHale when you need him?!?!

I was going to start a similar thread you beat me to the punch.

The thing I will add, is that we have a history of making deals with both of these teams too. Sure, McHale being gone eliminates part of our relationship with the Twolves... but they cant keep all these picks.

The KG trade, the Theo Ratliff/Telfair trade, I think danny will be talking to Minny, Portland, and maybe Memphis (another team he has a history with).

I will say I still dont think we find our way into the first round though unless one of those teams wants to just sell a pick for money. We dont really have much for assets that are worth a first rounder.

picks WILL be sold this year. If you can get 3 mil for a pick and are already over the cap, that is a very easy 6 mil swing. No one gets to mad because you don't really lose anyone.

One player slipping is Jennings. People are saying he's gonna go in the 20's. If we could add him to our roster it could end up being a steal.

Looks like POR just added another pick, 31 for Sergio.

oddly, this draft is a horrible draft to have like 5-6 pics in. That is why they have them. The pics are worth nothing. if danny had his pick this year, he'd have traded it for a future pick already.

maybe a team like the wolves with 5 and 6 will be ok, but no way does having tons of picks 10-60 worth it in this draft.
