What is Minnesota's deal?

Post#1 » by tfmiii » Fri Jun 26, 2009 1:24 am

OK we've all just seen the twolves draft a third PG with Ty Lawson to go along with Ricky Rubio and Johnny Flynn..... any ideas on what they are up to? What deals do they have cooking?

Could one be headed to Memphis? or Boston? or Phoenix???

Nonetheless...they could be getting a quick lesson in what happens when you take "best player available" without regards to redundancy...of course, I think this is less of an issue in the NBA as in other sports, like the NFL.

That would suck. I was looking foward to him playing with Jefferson. Sounds like his Dad and agent have a little too much power. It sure didn't sound last night like he wanted to go back to spain.

Dropping to 5th makes his buyout a very expensive proposition.

And the buyout rights are held by the spanish taxman, who would have less reason to take a massive cut.

I guess Minni thought it was worth taking himeven if he stays in spain for a couple of years..or to trade.
