OT: Darko to NY

Post#1 » by Avalanche » Fri Jun 26, 2009 4:00 am

For Richardson

Someone mentioned in the other thread that this trade could have some bearing on us dealing with Memphis if it went through.. so i thought it was worth noting

that, and this was probably the most boring draft ever so anything is news
-edit- from the wiretap btw

Crap...between him and Randolph leaving NY last year, it's getting harder to get up for our games vs. NY, especially with his most-lopsided-"rivalry" in the league with Pierce. If Nate signs with another team that leaves their main villain as...?

he is the serbian gangster so i would assume so.

but he'd also be good as a starter or backup center. young, decent defender, great shot blocker. he's got a decent skill set that he's shown flashes of being able to utilize. he played well with dwight and he was playing well in memphis until he got injured and they decided to go the route of marc gasol and darrell arthur and he never got back in rhythm.

plus coming into the league he was widely being compared to kevin garnett. obviously he's nowhere near that skill level and never will be but playing next to garnett and working with clifford would probably do wonders for him.

Darko is a bonafied scrub, and he can't play no disrespect. Memphis is celebrating, this man can't play basketball.

Really nice move for the Knicks, the kid (just turned 24) is a good rebounder and shotblocker.
